Bird Flu Condition_symptoms 24 (II)

or more, depending on how ambitious they were the writers and producers (in fact this way of making began with the fabulous television series Babylon 5

, but that's another story.) Well,

24 is different. In 24 left aside the episodic structure to focus on a plot that will last all season and that will be rolling out as a complicated web of betrayals, accióny critical decisions. Also has the added bonus that each episode features one hour of that plot, so the entire season happens in real time 24 hours, a fact that a persistent digital clock keeps reminding us. But this series has, in my view, with a few incentives rather than placed in a high level of quality. First we must talk about the performances and especially the character of Jack Bauer. Jack Bauer has become over time is not a character but an icon for the full rate, fully-willed and tough. Already at the beginning of the first season shows how someone who had denounced his own boss and colleagues as being related to national security cloudy. This had led to certain aura of mistrust among its peers, over time we realizeand perhaps too technical, is the treatment of accióny suspense is achieved. For much of the footage of the chapters show us two elements that have become the brand of the house: the digital clock (with family yellow numbers) and division of the screen image. The first element reminds us that we are in a continuous countdown, time passes inexorably that the minutes seem too short when everything is at stake. The second shows us things that the characters do not see, the views of other characters, events that occur simultaneously and contribute to the feeling of being in a career that moves slowly butdramatic intensity, can become almost unbearable and yet enticingly hypnotic, while the chapter is finished and you hardly ever notice. An additional factor that highlight and which I think is really 24

pioneer is the absolute lack of immunity of script for characters, for everyone except the protagonist. During his eight seasons have seen the death of characters who deeply loved or hated so much that we would have pulled the trigger ourselves. 24

is inexorably true to this style, from first to last season. This obviously gives a value higherros script,

since I've been witness to how the whole direction of a season changed in a few seconds of a chapter, how he unveiled a traitor as ma s unexpected, how decisions were made that conditioned the lives of millions of people in the blink of an eye. These turns are rarely used wisely as a valuable resource that makes you stay there until the end to play with you a few weeks.
